hair journey

a little past shoulder length

so i kinda started my hair journey last year and i saw some results but as the year was coming to an end i started slacking off and not going the full distance when it comes to taking care of my hair. I never took pics of my hair length so i don't exactly know where my length was last year but i had a set back that led to me cutting off a section of my hair. Since a new year has begun i have decided to start over again and start taking care of my hair properly and i also took a picture of my current hair length which i will be   updating periodically. So as you can see from the picture above I am a little bit past shoulder length and I would really like my hair to grow even longer so hopefully i can accomplish that by the end of this year. So hopefully now that i have posted a picture of what my hair looks like it will motivate me to keep it up.

WALMART AND SALLY BEAUTY SUPPLY HAUL.......

lately I've been hearing talk and seeing reviews upon reviews about the tangle teezer and how wonderful it is for detangling all types of hair without breaking your hair and since I have been unable to find a good tangler I decided to finally go out and buy one.  At first I couldn't find it and I was starting to get disappointed then i happened to turn to the other side and i saw them hanging, there was black, pink and purple, so i ended up buying the pink and purple one which i will probably give one to my mom since she is natural and needs a good de-tangler as well so i'm really excited to give this a try although it won't be for a while since i got my hair relaxed today.

Another product i purchased from sally's was the croco clip, I have been wanting to try better clips rather than the ones i have so i was really excited when i saw these.

I also went to walmart and I bought a new face wash then I walked over to the make up isle and was doing some browsing when i saw some lipsticks by revlon, but there was one in particular that i really liked which was called blush. it was such a pretty color i just had to have it.  So folks that's it for today I will come back with another post  maybe tomorrow after work.

cheese less quiche...... Say what?

hey..... i know it's been a very long while since i last posted something but since it's going into the new year i well try to post more often. So anyway i was thinking of something to make and i decided to make a quiche because for some reason i have been craving quiche so i used left over pie crust from thanksgiving and decided to make a cheese less quiche. At first I was nervous making it without the cheese but it turned out really well and i just used left over vegetables.

My new face routine

i have been dealing with acne for a very long time as many of you have, along with that recently my i have  been getting a lot of acne scars which i never used to get before. After years and months of trying products t hat have had absolutely no effect on my face whatsoever i decided it was time to try a high end product and pray for the best. During my lunch break i decided to mosey on over to the Clinique counter to look at some of their products and as i was talking with the sales lady we came to the conclusion that i should try the Clinique acne solutions clear skin system which consists of a cleansing foam, a clarifying lotion, and a clearing moisturizer along with that i also got the Clinique even better clinical dark spot corrector. As I continue using these product i will post updates on my progress.

ULTA, WALGREENS & TARGET HAUL

Yesterday when i was on break from work i decided to go to ulta to buy the iman cosmetics foundation stick and my shade was clay 2 and i have to say that i absolutely adore it, it matched my skin to perfection so i will definitely purchase it again even though i feel like $16.15 is a little steep for a drug store foundation but if the product is good it's worth it. As I was driving home i stopped at walgreens to buy some nailpolish as well as a graduation card for my cousin who is graduating from highschool in two weeks. As i was saying the nailpolishes i purched were very light spring/summer colors and one of them was just straight glitter to give my color selection a little oomph. So today I went to Target and i bought three Sonia Kashuk brushes which were the pencil brush, the angled contour brush and the synthetic flat top all purpose brush. I also bought the Rimmel fix and perfect foundation primer. Here are the pics of the products i purchased so enjoy.
